About Me

About Me

From an early age... Nah! I'm not gonna start off like that!

It's a long story but I started doing voice overs from around 15 years old after being in the right place at the right time. I'm truly a believer in that!

I used to make cups of tea for musicians at a local recording studio after school and met a voice over artist there who was recording an advert. He said he liked sound of my natural speaking voice and would I like to say the address and phone number at the end? Of course, why not! And the rest as they say is... you know the rest!

I decided to do a BTEC National Diploma in Media studies and excelled at radio. I won awards for my college radio shows and one of the biggest highlights was winning a Warner Bros voice over competition for the brand new opening of one of their cinema complexes. It kind of gave me the push to maybe think of this as a career and I got a sweatshirt, a midi-hi fi (remember those) and a free cinema pass for a month. Now, that's not bad is it?!

A radio station in Cairo, Egypt called and off I went! What did I have to lose?
I got to present on Egypt's first top 40 radio station, broadcasting to the biggest city in the Middle East and Africa. It was an incredible experience and really shaped me into the person I am today.
After 4 years, home was calling me back and I left Nile FM as Programme Director, which I'm extremely proud of as they aren't many women in charge of programming radio stations, especially in one of the toughest regions in the world.

So here I am today, providing some of the most unique and professional voice services from my studio in London.
Feel free to contact me to discuss your next voice over project. Big or small!
